We spent about a week and a half in Bangkok and towards the end we were running out of things to do. Before I left Australia, Llaine (Kellen’s sister) had told me about a café in Bangkok where you can have tea and share the room with lots of purring cats!
Purr Cat Café Club is a cat lovers’ paradise! Before we could enter the café we had to take our shoes off, put on slippers and also wash our hands. We walked through the clear glass doors and there were cats everywhere! They were on the bookcase, sleeping on chairs, hiding between the window and curtain, on top of the café fridge and one was happily sleeping on someone’s backpack.
No one is too interested in the food or drinks, everyone is just crazy for the cats! I’m not that into cats so I don’t really know the breeds but there were many Persian cats which have the grumpy look to them but are very soft and furry and loved a bit of a cuddle. At the time we were in the cafe I think I counted about 20!
